  • Make sure your phone battery is charged to 70% or more
  • Backup your device data
  • Make sure you install the Samsung Drives on your PC, if you haven’t already.
  • Download and install ADB USB Driver
  • Download and Unzip CWM & ROOT file (for SM-G610F / SM-G610M)
  • Download and Unzip TWRP RECOVERY for SM-G610Y

How to Easy Root Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F / SM-G610M / SM-G610Y:

  • First you should enabled Developer options
    If Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number (tap on it for 5-8 times)
  • Enabled USB Debugging and OEM unlock

  • Go to Lockscreen and Security under Settings and enable Unknown Sources.
  • Connect it to you PC using the USB cable
  • Now go to the CWM & ROOT file folder you just downloaded and run 1-EnterDownloadMode.bat
  • Your phone will reboot automatically into Download Mode
  • In Downloading Mode Run Odinv3.10.7.exe by click right and run as administrator on computer
  • Odin will automatically detect your phone and show the “added message”.

  • In Odin, tap AP button and find the SM-G610_cwm.tar for SM-G610F / SM-G610M or TWRP UNOFFICIAL-SM-G610Y for SM-G610Y you downloaded earlier and select it

  • Ensure Uncheck Auto-reboot and F Reset Time in Odin
  • click Start in Odin.
  • Once the root installation is done, your phone will reboot and soon a PASS message with a green background appears in the left-most box at the very top of Odin.

  • You now have recovery installed on your device, and now we will Installing SuperSU to root your device
  • Now go to the ROOT J7 PRIME(2016) file folder again and run 2-EnreRoveryMode
  • run ROOT.bat and wait for it to finish
  • Once the flashing finished run 3-Reboot.bat to reboot your device.
  • After reboot, Open menu. If the SuperSU App exist on your Application Menu on your smartphone it means you’ve succesfully rooted your device.
