Make sure that your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running on Android Lollipop 5.0 with build id OF1. If your device is a totally different model, it will not work (may even brick) ! In this tutorial we use Odin and Kingroot on Widows computer. Root your device at your own risk.
Make sure your phone battery is charged to 70% or more
Make sure you install the Samsung Kieson your PC, if you haven’t already.
How to Root Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900V Lollipop:
First you should enabled Developer options If Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number (tap on it for 5-8 times)
Enabled USB Debugging
Connect your phone to the computer.
Launch SM-N900V_FI_ROOT.exe by click right and run as administrator on computer
Odin will start automatically detect your phone and show the “added message” and your phone will reboot in downloadmode
In Odin, tap PDA button and find the 1.tar file from the SM-N900V_FI_ROOT folder thatyou downloaded earlier and select it
Ensure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options are selected in Odin, while the Re-Partition option is unchecked.
click Start in Odin.
Once the root installation is done, your phone will reboot and soon a PASS message with a green background appears in the left-most box at the very top of Odin.
Your Samsung will reboot automatically
Wait the proscess of root to finish and the phone will reboot in download mode and odin will start again
Go back to PDA button on odin, and then flash the 2.tar
When Odin finshes flashing the file, the phone will reboot again
Wait until king root is installed
If Kingroot is not installed, you can instal it manually
Open KingRoot App
Press Try To Root to begin the rooting process.
Wait for the process of rooting the device. (Make sure your Internet On).
Next, you will see a green checkmark, which signifies the rooting process has been completed.
After reboot, Open menu. If the King User App exist on your Application Menu on your smartphone it means you’ve succesfully rooted your device.
