Make sure your phone battery is charged to 70% or more
Make sure you install the LG USB Driverson your PC, if you haven’t already.
Backup all your internal data’s
Enable USB Debugging, by open Settings > Developers Option > USB Debugging If Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number (tap on it for 5-8 times)
Enable Unknown Sources, by open System settings > Security > Enable Unknown Sources
Download and install “Astro File Manager” from Play Store
Root LG Optimus L5 E610/ E612/ E615/ E617
Copy the apk “IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk” into your LG SD card.
Now using “Astro File Manager” go to My Files 2 or Local Storage 2 and install “IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk” into your LG Optimus L5.
Next, Change your mobile connection mode to “Charge Only Mode”.
You need to open the app after successful installation and Yo’ll see a message “Hello World”.
Now reboot your phone
After completely rebooted, just run the “root.bat” if you are using Windows or “root.sh” if you are using Linux or “root.mac.sh” if you are using MAC OS.
If the SuperUser App exist on your Application Menu on your smartphone it means you’ve succesfully rooted your device.
